Joe made selling our house a smooth and pleasant experience. He knew exactly what to do at every step of the process and gave us excellent guidance along the way.
Due to a death in the family an old run down home came into our possession. It wasn’t really in live-in condition and needed a lot of work whether we wanted to rent it out or sell it. In an uncertain market any investment to upgrade the property would be a risk without the proper knowledge and guidance. We had given tours to two other Real Estate agents and a contractor. They all gave us bad news and told us not to get our expectations too high, that only a contractor or developer would take on the project and would need to spend a lot of money to make it liveable. Then Joe came to our attention upon recommendation from a friend. Specifically, Joe was extremely helpful and responsive to our situation. We could not have been happier working with him. He remained confident when we encountered challenges and always kept us calm and on target.
Joe put quality over quantity when it came to helping us prepare and sell the home. What I mean by quality is we were not just a “number” to him, he genuinely cared to get to know us and familiarize himself with what we were comfortable with when preparing the home for sale. Joe was 100% professional at all times, patient with our questions, and knew exactly what the best approach would be to determine a target market to sell to and what price range we could realize. Furthermore, he gave us great tips and guidance in taking a very old, beat up and run down home into looking clean, presentable and move-in ready. He also ensured us we didn’t need to spend a lot of money, time or effort to make the house presentable. Under his guidance we did a large clean up and addressed some of the key areas which buyers would primarily be looking at and Joe’s knowledge was crucial to our success.
Joe took it from there, marketing the home skilfully using video footage shot by drone, highlighting the location, proximity to a hospital, several schools and public transportation with video footage from the air illustrating exactly what benefits the location provided a lucky buyer. In terms of distances and conveniences the location provided His efforts paid off in a quick response from the market with over fifteen offers arriving within one week. For us it was easy and painless. We looked at all offers and accepted the one best for us. In short, Joe is a valuable asset to any company and we greatly appreciate everything he did for us.
